Atlanta Motor Speedway brought a foggy, misty Saturday evening Gander Outdoors NASCAR Truck Series (GONTS) race. The first two stages both went to Kyle Busch, who was fighting to become the driver with the most wins in NASCAR Truck Series history. He was tied with Ron Hornaday for 51 wins, Hornaday had 360 total starts, Busch 145 so far.
The race went red with nine laps to go for rain, and Busch was still in the lead. Many fans thought the race wouldn't go green again, but they were wrong. Busch held the field off to win his 52nd race. He also had 115 top tens in the series and 6,497 laps led total.
Busch's KBM teammates finished in 8th (Harrison Burton) and 9th (Todd Gilliland).
Busch will make his 500th career start tomorrow for the Cup Series, tune in to see if he gets another checkered flag!
