Harrison Burton is the driver of the No. 18 Safelight Toyota for Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM). This is Burton’s rookie season in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. Since his debut in Martinsville 2016, Burton has competed in several truck series races and is still hunting down his first win (NGOTS).
Friday Burton left Las Vegas Motor Speedway, 2nd place in the points standings. The 18 year old originally qualified in 3rd place and spent most of the race in 2nd fighting boss man (and eventual winner of the race) Kyle Busch for the lead. On the final restart Burton was was able to make it up to 5th place before the checkered flag, a handful of laps later. His KBM teammate Todd Gilliland, finished the day in 7th place, while (as stated above) Kyle Busch took the win.
